Never lend money
I remember a good friend of mine who has ';passed on';. He was this nice old man named Don who did volunteer work at a senior citizens home up the street from the grocery store where I was a security guard.

One day, Don and I were talking about money and how you spend your life trying to make ends meet and how some others live beyond their means.

Don pulled a dollar bill from his pocket and said to me,';Believe in God,but don't let THIS be your God. Money was here long before any of us were born and it's going to be here long after we're gone';.

I used to tease him for being eighty some odd years old and he still had dark red hair with only the slightest gray on his temples.

He said because he has learned from his past, but he lives in the present. He doesn't worry about the future because it doesn't exist.Don't sweat the small stuff.
I agree with untanuta.
Always check your zip when you come out of the toilet.
To be true to myself.....
Here are some that I know by heart:

- A man is as old as he feels himself to be.

- The early bird catches the early worm.

- Don't say or do anything that you won't want to be said or done to you.

- Don't believe in anybody 100%.

- Time is a great healer.

- A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

- There is no smoke without fire.

-Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

- Business is business. (and in the Macedonian language, the translation is quite amusing, but very true!)

--- I hope I answered the question.
Always be yourself.
- If you've got no money you've got no friends.

- Buy low, sell high (don't wait to get the very best price before the crash)

- You can always rely on the kindness of strangers. (joke)

Don't buy anything if you can't afford it!
Dont do it.
