Advice needed on how to make the BEST hot chocolate in the whole wide world?

buy 2 dairy milk bars and 2 mars bars, melt in a bowl that is placed in a bowl of boiling water, then pour into a cup and drink, you cant beat the real thing!Advice needed on how to make the BEST hot chocolate in the whole wide world?
You're probably not likely to beat cadburys classic cocoa. Get some organic free range full cream milk from Marks and Spencer - but don't overboil your milk and add your three or four heaps - your best adding quite a lot as you get a bigger drink in one sitting - Oh and mix it well for a while.

Otherwise get a spanking good clean mug and wait a while for the hot chocolate to cool.

This will beat any foreign chocolate and probably is the best of british - Enjoy!Advice needed on how to make the BEST hot chocolate in the whole wide world?
Top it with whipped cream, marshmallows and sprinkle with choc.
use cream or half-half as a part of your liquid. very rich and smooth or silky. Cocoa and such. liquid Hershey chocolate or Godiva would also be a edge up over a powdered version. By using liquids you remove the chance of there being any grit in your drink.

You can also try these killer recipes in the links below, first one is a conventional hot chocolate and the second is something off the wall with peppers in it!
First of all use fresh chocolate or real cocoa (no instant cocoa)

Things I like to add and make it taste nice

Vanilla

marshmallows (molten down)

honey

cinamon

brandy

whipped cream

caramel

golden syrup

allspice

small bit of instant coffee

(don't add it all at once but mix and match)
Bakers chocolate, and lots of sugar or honey.
Add a pinch of chilli powder - it works, try it.
you will never achieve that goal, for I hold that post......sorry!!!!
The best hot chocolate in my mind is basically slightly thinned chocolate fondue; good-quality chocolate melted and carefully mixed with hot milk and cream. Use dark chocolate for best results, then sweeten to taste, as some milk chocolate can be a bit too sweet and often contains vanilla flavouring that makes it sickly.

Add a little spice eg cinnamon and nutmeg or a dash of strong coffee, and top with whipped cream, very good quality marshmallows and flaked chocolate..

If you can't be bothered waiting and stirring it for however long, try using the Charbonnel et Walker hot chocolate - basically just flaked chocolate that takes less time to melt, so you could just add it to a mug of hot milk.
Mix 3 heaped teaspoons of Cadburys drinking chocolate with 1 teaspoon of hot water and mix to a paste. Add milk and put in the microwave till it starts bubbling. Stir really well and put aerosol cream and marshmallows on top - and some crumbled Flake too!
Go out and buy one of those galaxy sachets mmm. Nobody will know you didn't create it but you can say you made it =)
i just normally get some really nice hot chocolate pwder (like that galaxy stuff) then once ive put all my sugar n pwder in i put a a little bit of milk in n stir it for a bit hten add hot water , it makes it really nice n creamy kinda :D n then just put some squirty cream on top n sprinkle some hot choclate powder on top of it. I think it tastes better than the ones you get in them cafes n stuff. Hope its helped you.
Galaxy hot chocolate, made with full fat milk is so nice
Stir and heat 1 cup of milk (without boiling) either in a microwave safe jug or in a saucepan on the stove, then add 50g of dark chocolate (use those melting buttons or chop/break it up first) and keep stirring 'til it's all melted and well combined. Then pour it into a mug and you are hunky dory.

That was the amounts for one person, just increase it for more people. You can add sugar if you want, but I find it's rich enough without, and don't use milk chocolate - it's way too sweet and nowhere near chocolatey enough.
