not always. when people are depressed, their minds don't work well. and when people are in love, they are often blinded by obvious truths. so they need a 3rd person's point of view to make them realize lots of things that were really just right in front of them, but couldn't see it because they were too confused and had too many things on their mind.
Not necessary. Sometimes it good to get opinions from others to enable one to think outside the box.

Don't agree at all. Diversity %26amp; different opinions expand your views. And what could your own give in terms of best advice if say you need some expert medical opinion which only a medical expert who's a total stranger can give?
Dont agree!because advice from other people could be helpfull incase someone is in the same situation as you.
only your own can make the decision , you ask questions to get answers , answers are marely advice , you get decisons by advice .

I agree that only you can make your mind up about something but I also think it is good to get other people's perspectives on things to help you make you mind up
No, because by asking for advice people want to know more points of view. That way they can look at the issue at different angles and that helps a lot when you have to take a decision. And decision will not necessarily follow the advice.
