Yeah, send it to Dell. They wont send you the parts to repair it unless you are an authorized service center. If you take it to a service center, you are gonna pay more than if you just return it to the factory for repair. In ANY event, get your wallet out because Dell parts aint cheap!

1 - Contact dell.


2 - Search ebay for non-working units and buy them. Then, take apart thew two machines and swap screens.


3 - Local computer shop

Laptop screens aren't like desktop ones. You can't just go buy a new one, you will have to probably buy an entirely new laptop. Or buy a old laptop with a working screen and then swap them.
Throw it away, after all it's a Dell.

It all depends on how much the laptop cost and how new it is.


Laptop screens are REAL expensive (I've looked into this before), plus your gonna have to send it off then pay for the repair and get it sent back.





You COULD buy a screen off ebay and fit it but I'd get a quote BEFORE you do anything as if you send it they'll kill you with the bill!!!
